You can conveniently order our natural polyethylene sheets made to measure online. Our PE sheets are made of high-density PE-HD and are available cut to size in thicknesses of 3mm-20mm. The sheets have the natural milky white colour of polyethylene throughout. Polyethylene sheets in the natural colour are opaque and also relatively translucent in lower thicknesses. Our PE-HD sheets have no foamed core and consist exclusively of solid sheets with solid core material. The surfaces of our natural-coloured PE sheets are smooth and are supplied without a protective film.

For our natural coloured polyethylene sheets, we offer you our cutting service for sheet thicknesses from 3mm to 20mm. If you require different sheet thicknesses, we can supply you with our natural PE-HD sheets in thicknesses from 1mm to 100mm as standard sheets in the 2.0x1.0 metre format. The production of your polyethylene cuts is carried out on modern CNC panel saws, so that we can guarantee a very low dimensional tolerance of +/-1mm. Should you require significantly tighter tolerances, this can be realised on request. Our cutting calculator calculates your personal conditions depending on format and quantity. NOTE: Polyethylene is a technical plastic and therefore it is not advisable to use our polyethylene sheets in natural colour for optical purposes, as the surface scratches relatively easily (except for our PE-HD sheets with grained surface).

Properties of our polyethylene sheets in nature

Polyethylene is a plastic that is characterised by very high chemical resistance and very good impact strength. Our PE sheets in natural colour are therefore frequently used in tank construction for the chemical industry. Thanks to the good sliding properties of polyethylene, the PE-HD sheets are also very popular in the building industry as concrete construction sheets, because concrete neither attacks the sheets nor sticks to them. In road construction, the inexpensive polyethylene sheets are also very popular as root protection sheets to protect pipes and underground cables.

Our polyethylene sheets in natural colour comply with the most diverse standards and approvals for use in the food industry. For this reason, these sheets are very often used as cutting boards, table tops on work tables in bakeries, butcher shops and large kitchens, as well as storage shelves in cold stores and warehouses. Processing of polyethylene (PE-HD) in nature

Our plastic sheets made of natural-coloured polyethylene can be easily sawn, milled, turned or drilled. It is also possible to cut our PE-HD sheets with a CO2 laser or a water jet cutting machine. However, polyethylene cannot be painted, glued or printed on. Bonding with conventional adhesives is also not possible due to the chemical stability. For this reason, the welding of polyethylene is common practice. Suitable HDPE welding wires in the colour nature, for welding our natural-coloured PE-HD sheets, can be found in our online shop.

Polyethylene is excellent in terms of thermoforming. At temperatures of approx. +140°C, our polyethylene sheets in natural colour can be thermoformed. Deep-drawing for the production of individual moulded parts made of polyethylene is also very well possible with this thermoplastic.

NOTE: Polyethylene cannot be glued with conventional adhesives. For this reason, we carry the special 2-component adhesive S-Polybond PEprofi in our online shop, which was specially produced for bonding polyethylene.
