Aluminium composite panel in Oak Classic wood decor in 3 mm thickness, cut to size – for warm wall surfaces, furniture cladding, counter fronts, privacy screen elements and shopfitting surfaces with a natural wood look. The decorative side shows a realistic oak grain with a slight texture, yet remains easy to clean, dimensionally stable and, as a cut-to-size panel up to 2000 mm × 1000 mm, is significantly easier to handle than real wood.
This panel belongs to our category Aluminium composite panels cut to size. There you will find an overview of further colours, decors and thicknesses.

The aluminium composite panel Oak Classic combines the warm effect of a light oak surface with the advantages of a lightweight, flat 3 mm composite panel. The wood decor shows a realistic-looking grain with fine colour gradients and has a slight texture along the grain, bringing the panel very close to a real wood surface not only visually, but also to the touch.
Unlike real wood, the surface remains closed, easy to maintain and dimensionally stable. It does not rot, decay or need to be regularly glazed, oiled or varnished. This makes the panel particularly suitable for surfaces where the natural appearance of oak is desired but real wood would be too maintenance-intensive, too heavy or too sensitive in use.
You receive your panel in 3 mm thickness as a millimetre-precise cut-to-size panel up to 2000 mm × 1000 mm. The visible side shows the textured wood decor, while the reverse side is white primer-coated and therefore well prepared for bonding. In the cut-to-size panel, the grain always runs lengthwise, i.e. along the length specified in the configurator.
The visible side shows the Oak Classic decor with visible grain and slight surface texture. For decorative wall cladding, furniture cladding, counter fronts or privacy screen elements, the panel is usually mounted over the full surface, meaning the reverse side is not visible. For this reason, it is white primer-coated and prepared for installation. This creates a continuous wood look on the front, while the reverse side supports simple installation by bonding.
Note: Wood decor is characterised by grain, colour gradients and subtle structural differences. Depending on the cut and the panel area, the appearance may vary slightly. With this decor, the grain runs lengthwise along the cut-to-size panel. The protective film may distort the visual effect of the decor.
Ideal when an oak look is desired but real wood is too complex due to regular maintenance and surface treatment.
On request, the aluminium composite panel Oak Classic can be prepared ready for installation. In addition to rectangular cutting, drill holes, cut-outs and individual contours are also possible, for example for handle openings in furniture cladding, sockets in wall cladding or fixing points for privacy screen and cladding elements. This means the panel arrives not only in the right size, but also with the openings and drill holes you need for installation.
Information on CNC machining: Have aluminium composite panels milled.
For a harmonious appearance: The grain follows the selected length – simply configure the panels in Oak Classic decor to match your requirements and order them cut to size.
The 3 mm thick aluminium composite panel Oak Classic consists of a lightweight PE core with aluminium cover layers on both sides. This keeps the panel dimensionally stable, while still making it very easy to saw, drill and mill. For clean cut edges, we recommend a stable support, a suitable saw blade and steady guidance of the saw.
Ideally, the panel should be sawn from the reverse side. This means the decorative side with protective film lies on the support and remains better protected during processing. For visible cut pieces, the grain direction should be checked before sawing so that it later runs in the desired direction.
Note: The protective film should only be removed completely after cutting, drilling and installation.
For discreet installation without visible screw heads, the aluminium composite panel with wood decor can be bonded using a suitable MS polymer adhesive, e.g. with Parabond 600. A load-bearing, clean and as even as possible substrate is important so that the panel lies flat over the full surface.
Alternatively, the panel can be screwed or riveted. This is particularly suitable when the fixing may remain visible or when the wood look is intended to be deliberately contrasted with a technical appearance.
Tip: Our aluminium facade rivets or stainless steel facade screws create a clear contrast with the warm oak look and are particularly well suited to modern wood-metal combinations with aluminium construction profiles.
