Aluminium composite panels in black are very rigid and stable. The composite structure consists of aluminium layers in 0.25 mm thickness on both sides with a polyethylene (PE) core. The total thickness of these panels is 3mm. The surfaces are lacquered and covered both sides with a protective film which can easily be peeled off.
HINT: always peel off the protective film in the end.
The picture shows two original aluminium composite panels as provided by us. By zooming in you can see the saw-cut quality in more detail - just move the mouse over the image. The colour scheme of the saw-cut is: aluminium-black-aluminium. These panels are cut to size on modern horizontal CNC plate saws so that we can guarantee a size tolerance of +/- 1 mm. Significantly narrower tolerances available on request.
Machining options for aluminium composite panels can be machined by: sawing, drilling, milling, grinding, painting, gluing.
Bonding of aluminium composite panels to one another is relatively simple. The right adhesive in our shop for these panels is PLEXUS MA 300. Please note that only the aluminum surfaces can be glued, the PE core is not bonded by the adhesives! For bonding aluminium composite panels with other materials, e.g. those commonly used in the construction and building industry, we recommend Parabond 600. The adhesives are shown below.
