Facade screw for Trespa® Meteon® Lime Green (A37.0.8)

Also available individually ✓ Silk-gloss lacquer finish ✓ A4 steel (stainless steel) ✓

Our light green facade screws in size 5.5 x 35mm with a head diameter of 12mm are made of A4 stainless steel, which is characterised by outstanding corrosion resistance. The flat screw head is specially matched in colour and gloss to the single-colour Trespa® Meteon® facade panels in Lime Green (A37.0.8) with a satin surface, which has a fine, silky-gloss surface gloss. For maximum colour fastness, the scratch-resistant topcoat is UV and weather resistant.

We sell the light green facade screws in any quantity - Free of annoying packaging units.

Trespa® Meteon® FR panels made of high-pressure laminate are approved in accordance with the general construction type approval for the erection of vertical facade cladding on timber support battens. The prerequisite is that the screws used are manufactured in accordance with DIN EN 14592. With our facade screws in Lime Green, these conditions are met.

NOTE: A screwdriver or hexagon socket bit size ISR20 (Torx TX20) is required to process the screws.

Properties of our HPL screws in light green

Our HPL screws for facade panels are made of A4 stainless steel, which has outstanding corrosion resistance. The round, flat screw head with a diameter of 12mm is not only mandatory for facade systems, but also ensures that the holes for sliding point fixings are always completely covered. These must be 8mm in diameter for facade systems on timber substructures. The modern hexagon socket drive, which is usually referred to as a TORX drive, facilitates screwing without the bit slipping out of the screw or spinning. The partial thread with a thread diameter of 5.5mm and a total length of 35mm, has a thread-free area of 10mm on the thread shank, so that panels up to a thickness of 8mm can be screwed in.

All our facade screws have a scratch-resistant head coating with very good UV and weather resistance. These are important properties because facade cladding is, after all, attached to the exterior wall in most cases. The light green of the lacquered screw heads, corresponds exactly to the surfaces in Lime Green with the manufacturer code A37.0.8 of the Trespa® Meteon® UNI COLOURS panels with satin surface. This ensures a visually inconspicuous fixing of the panels.

Installation of HPL panels with our facade screws

The facade screws with head lacquering in light green are approved as fasteners of vertical facade systems in combination with the Trespa® Meteon® panels in Lime Green. The prerequisite is that the substructure is a construction made of wooden support battens with a minimum thickness of 30mm. The type and quality of the wood must also comply with the regulations laid down in the general type approval for the panels. This also regulates how the installation must be carried out. In the case of facade cladding in outdoor areas, for example, constraint-free installation with fixed points and sliding points must be observed in order to counteract heat-induced panel expansion. This also involves the specifications for the diameter of the drill holes, which must be made with an 8 mm drill bit for sliding points. For the fixed point, a drill with 6mm or the use of a fixed point sleeve is required. The wooden substructure must not be drilled. In addition, when screwing in the screws, make sure that they are not screwed in too tightly. The screw connection is sufficient as soon as the flat screw head rests on the panel.

How many screws are needed for the building project depends on various factors. Basically, with Trespa® Meteon® panels in 8mm thickness, a distance of 700mm between the individual screw connections must not be exceeded. If the panel thickness is reduced to 6mm, the maximum distance is also reduced. In this case it is 600mm. If, in addition, tensile loads have to be taken into account, e.g. facade panels loaded by wind, the distances must be reduced. The same applies to the ceiling installation of HPL panels. The edge distance of the fasteners must not be less than 20mm. The maximum distance between the screws and the edge of the panel depends on the panel used. A maximum value of ten times the panel thickness applies here. For an 8 mm thick HPL panel, this means that the edge fastening may be positioned no more than 80 mm from the outer edge of the panel.

The colour-intensive HPL panels Trespa® Meteon® in Lime Green have a cheerful and fresh effect. This makes the sheets ideal for shop fitting, for example for covering fresh food counters and wall backgrounds in food retailing. The light green also provides an attractive colour accent in the home and can be used as a tabletop in the living room, kitchen or on the terrace.

The facade screws are not a Trespa® brand product and are only matched to the panel decor. Trespa® is a registered trademark of Trespa International.
