The S-Polylight LED recessed spotlight complete set in white combines modern design with sophisticated technology and high-quality materials. Depending on the version, sets are available with 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12 mini spotlights – providing the perfect solution for any lighting situation. Each set includes a compact LED power controller with integrated dimmer and radio receiver, a handy radio remote control and all the necessary connection cables. The spotlights themselves impress with their slim design, with an outer diameter of just 36millimetres, and a robust housing made of powder-coated aluminium in elegant white. With an installation diameter of only 28 mm and an installation depth of 29mm, the MINI LED spotlights can be installed even in very confined spaces. They emit a clear, cool white light with 6000 Kelvin, which is very close to natural daylight and provides fresh, unadulterated illumination. With 3 watts of power and 190 lumens per spotlight, they produce a powerful brightness that can be individually adjusted by remote control. Thanks to their IP65 protection rating, the recessed spotlights are ideal for protected outdoor areas – such as patio roofs or house entrances – as well as for damp rooms such as bathrooms or kitchens.

With an outer diameter of just 36mm, they blend inconspicuously into ceilings, shelves or furniture without detracting from the feel of the room. They are ideal for open-plan living spaces, kitchen islands, lofts or as subtle accent lighting behind TV cabinets or display cases. Outdoors, they also add stylish accents to patio roofs, balconies, entrance areas or along walkways. The robust clamping brackets ensure a secure hold, even in tight spaces, thanks to a 28mm installation diameter and 29mm depth. Each individual spotlight delivers 3 watts of power and 190 lumens of bright, cool white light at 6000 Kelvin, which resembles daylight and offers natural colour rendering. Thanks to their IP65 protection class, the spotlights are also suitable for bathroom areas or mirror lighting, where they are reliably protected against dust and splashing water. The brightness can be conveniently adjusted using the remote control, allowing you to flexibly switch between bright working light and atmospheric accent lighting. Installing the mini spotlights is extremely easy and can be done completely without tools. The pre-assembled connection cables are connected directly to the hub of the LED power controller using practical screw connectors. The housing is made of high-quality aluminium and has a UV-resistant powder coating, so it retains its elegant appearance even in direct sunlight or adverse weather conditions. The system thus combines easy installation, durability and stylish design in one.

The S-Polylight LED Power Controller DR-CON36W is the control centre of our complete sets – it not only ensures a reliable power supply to the mini LED spotlights, but also controls them via the radio remote control. Externally, it is a compact 12-volt power supply with a permanently connected Euro plug that can be plugged directly into any standard socket. Inside, there is an integrated dimmer and a 2.4 GHz radio receiver. A permanently wired hub with twelve slots, which can be used to connect up to twelve LED spotlights, supplies the small lamps with 3 watts each, up to a total output of 36 watts. To ensure that installation is successful even with a controller without a master in electrical engineering, the appropriate connection cables are already included in the scope of delivery. Each cable is five metres long and has a 2-pin plug for the hub and a practical screw-in plug contact for the spotlight. This allows the spotlights to be conveniently positioned even at greater distances from the power controller. For even more flexibility, optional 5-metre extension cables are available, which can be easily inserted between the spotlight and the connection cable.

The set includes a compact 2.4 GHz wireless remote control that allows convenient control of the LED lighting via the power controller. It not only allows you to switch the lights on and off, but also to dim the brightness in 10 or 20 per cent increments and offers direct selection buttons for various preset lighting moods. Thanks to modern radio technology, no line of sight to the controller is required – the remote control works reliably even through walls, from a distance of up to 30 metres. The black, shock-resistant ABS housing fits comfortably in the hand, while rubberised buttons ensure pleasant operation. On the back is a practical battery compartment that holds two 1.5-volt AAA batteries (not included).

The LED recessed spotlights require a cut-out with a diameter of 28mm so that they can be installed and securely fixed in the mounting openings using spring clips. To ensure that the cut-outs do not pose an obstacle, each complete set comes with a high-quality bi-metal hole saw free of charge. Thanks to its alternating teeth, the hole saw is suitable for numerous materials such as wood, plastic, light metal, plasterboard, HPL or aluminium composite panels. A precisely ground HSS centring drill bit ensures exact positioning of the cut-outs. The ejector spring attached to the drill bit facilitates the removal of drill cuttings, while the stable triangular shank enables secure mounting in all common cordless screwdrivers.

Installation and connection of white recessed spotlights

The LED lighting can be installed in just three simple steps. All necessary components are included in the set, including the 28mm hole saw, so installation can begin immediately upon delivery. A cordless screwdriver and two 1.5-volt AAA batteries for the remote control should be available.

1. Drilling the mounting holes
To install the recessed spotlights, first determine the desired positions and drill the holes. It is important to ensure that the installation depth is at least 29mm and that the connection cables can be easily routed to the power controller later on. For the round cut-outs with a diameter of 28mm, each LED complete set comes with a high-quality bi-metal hole saw that can be easily clamped into any standard cordless screwdriver with a standard drill chuck. The ground centring drill bit ensures precise drilling. This makes installation quick, clean and professional – perfect for modern interiors and stylish outdoor areas.

2. Wiring the spotlights
The wiring of the LED spotlights begins with laying the connection cable to the power controller's hub. It is important that the white 2-pin plug is later connected to the controller and not to the spotlight, as this is the only way it can be plugged into the hub. Although the cable has a protective sheath, it should not be routed over sharp edges or stretched too tightly. The screw connection on the spotlight is then connected. A small notch ensures that the correct polarity is guaranteed. Then tighten the plastic screw connection by hand to create a tight, secure connection that provides reliable protection against dust and splashing water, even outdoors. Now the spotlight can be inserted into the opening. To do this, carefully bend the clamping brackets together and guide them through the opening. But be careful! Due to the high spring tension, there is a risk of pinching your fingers. Once the process has been repeated for all spotlights, the white plugs can be inserted into a slot on the power controller hub, completing the electrical installation. If the 5-metre connection cable is too short, the cable can be easily extended by a further 5 metres using an optional extension cable via the spotlight's screw contact.

3. Coupling the controller
Before pairing, the remote control must be powered by inserting the batteries. Then plug the power plug, which is connected directly to the power controller, into the designated socket, which will cause the LED spots to light up. The controller is now in pairing mode for 5 seconds. During this time, the small round mode button in the centre of the control circuit for the dimming function must be pressed. If several controllers – for example, if there are more than 12 recessed spotlights – are to be controlled with one and the same remote control, all controllers must be powered at approximately the same time and the mode button must be held down, as the controllers are paired one after the other.
