The Högert socket adapters from 1/4" or 1/2" to 3/8" are suitable for fitting sockets, hexagonal sockets, extension rods, etc. with 3/8" drive on a ratchet in 1/4" or 1/2" and extend the application possibilities of the tool enormously. We rely on the best possible quality for our socket adapters. They are made of robust and wear-resistant chrome vanadium steel with matt chrome-plated surfaces according to DIN 3121 and have a ball catch groove in the socket as well as a spring-mounted steel ball for secure locking of the sockets.
Quality does not have to be expensive. We offer the socket adapters in craftsman quality at an unbeatable price.
Socket adapters are small, extremely useful tools that are inserted between a ratchet and another tool and serve the purpose of using sockets with different drive sizes. The adapters have a square socket on the back into which the ratchet or an extension bar is inserted. A ball catch groove prevents the adapter from accidentally detaching from the corresponding tool. With our socket adapters, the square socket varies depending on the size selected and is suitable either for a ratchet with 1/2" square bolt or around the smaller 1/4" bolt. On the front, our adaptor pieces are fitted with a square drive in the 3/8 inch size, thus allowing the use of 3/8" Hexagon socket spanners and all sockets with a corresponding mount on a larger 1/2" or smaller 1/4" ratchet. To ensure that the sockets are also securely and firmly connected to the adapter, our socket adapters have a spring-loaded ball lock.
The socket adapters comply with DIN 3121 "Connecting square for machine-operated screwdriving tools" and are therefore compatible with all ratchets, ratchets and torque spanners that also comply with this standard, thus extending the usability of a reversible ratchet many times over. Socket adapters are used in a wide variety of areas and are included in almost every commercially available ratchet set and well-stocked toolboxes. Typical areas of application are the automotive industry, where such adapters between a torque spanner and a screwdriving tool always ensure the correct tightening torque. Socket spanners and corresponding adapters are also used almost daily in the trades, for example in kitchen assembly, in the sanitary and electrical industry for the assembly of WCs, washbasins, cable trays with bolt anchors or for the assembly of facade cladding, patio roofing and awnings. Our high-quality adapters are made of chrome vanadium steel, and the surface is also matt chrome-plated to ensure the best possible protection against corrosion. The alloy of chrome and vanadium is a quality feature in the trade and ensures high hardness and enormous wear resistance in the tools. Due to their robust construction and the high quality of the materials used, our socket adapters are not only suitable for private applications in the hobby sector, but are also suitable for professional use in trade and industry without hesitation.
