The Högert socket adapters from 1/4" or 1/2" to 3/8" are suitable for fitting sockets, hexagonal sockets, extension rods, etc. with 3/8" drive on a ratchet in 1/4" or 1/2" and extend the application possibilities of the tool enormously. They are made of robust and wear-resistant chrome vanadium steel with matt chrome-plated surfaces according to DIN 3121 and have a ball catch groove in the socket as well as a spring-mounted steel ball for secure locking of the sockets.

Properties of the chrome vanadium steel socket adapters

Socket adapters are small, extremely useful tools that are inserted between a ratchet and another tool and serve the purpose of using sockets with different drive sizes. The adapters have a square socket on the back into which the ratchet or an extension bar is inserted. A ball catch groove prevents the adapter from accidentally detaching from the corresponding tool. With our socket adapters, the square socket varies depending on the size selected and is suitable either for a ratchet with 1/2" square bolt or around the smaller 1/4" bolt. On the front, our adaptor pieces are fitted with a square drive in the 3/8 inch size, thus allowing the use of 3/8" Hexagon socket spanners and all sockets with a corresponding mount on a larger 1/2" or smaller 1/4" ratchet. To ensure that the sockets are also securely and firmly connected to the adapter, our socket adapters have a spring-loaded ball lock.

The socket adapters comply with DIN 3121 "Connecting square for machine-operated screwdriving tools" and are therefore compatible with all ratchets, ratchets and torque spanners that also comply with this standard, thus extending the usability of a reversible ratchet many times over.
