The balcony screws in pure white (RAL9010) are available from us as loose screws in the sizes M5x20mm, M5x25mm and M5x30mm. These are large-head threaded screws with a metric thread of size M5 and a painted screw head with an outer diameter of 16mm. This not only ensures a high bearing surface so that even heavy assembly objects can be fastened, but also ensures that enlarged drilled sliding points of a panel are always completely covered. The white top coat, consisting of a UV- and weather-resistant powder coating, corresponds to the surfaces of our HPL panels in pure white. The satin sheen of the surface is also reflected in the painted screw head, so that the panels can be mounted as visually inconspicuous as possible. The production of solid A2 stainless steel, which is characterized by a very good corrosion resistance, allows a permanent use of the screws indoors and outdoors, without fear of rust formation.

NOTE: The white painted balcony threaded screws are available in optional lengths of 20mm, 25mm and 30mm. Regardless of the thread length, the thread size is always M5, which makes the screws perfect for fastening with our stainless steel threaded sleeves and cap nuts. While the cap nuts are always stainless steel bright, the threaded sleeves can have different head finishes. In addition, the screws can also be screwed with conventional hex nuts with M5 female thread.

Although we also offer the balcony screws in various complete sets for different types of installation, but not always suitable for the desired purpose, so we also offer all the components individually, so you can combine them as you wish. For example, to combine a white screw with a dust gray threaded sleeve. Alternatively, existing hex nuts can be used for screwing. As with all other products in our online store, we do not have minimum quantities for the pure white balcony screws and also do not specify fixed packaging units, so you can order the quantity that is needed, even if that means buying a single screw.

Features of stainless steel balcony screw in pure white

Stainless steel is generally slightly more expensive than galvanized steel, but this additional cost is quickly saved by the low maintenance of outdoor fasteners. The high-quality alloy of A2 stainless steel in particular ensures that the screws can be used without hesitation for all outdoor applications without having to worry about corrosion. We focus on quality. For this reason, our balcony screws are also made of solid stainless steel without exception.

So that the balcony screws also meet the intended purpose and can be used for mounting facade panels as balcony cladding, a large head diameter is required. Especially for sliding points, whose panel holes can be 8mm or even 10mm, the hole should always be completely covered. For this reason, the screw heads of our pure white threaded screws have a diameter of 16mm. The thickness is about 2mm, but decreases towards the edges. The slight lens shape of the top thus ensures an attractive, almost flush transition from the panel surface to the screw, which in combination with the head painting contributes to the best possible visual integration into the overall picture. The M5 thread of the balcony screw is available in various lengths. For the pure white screws, thread lengths of 20mm, 25mm or 20mm are available, which is sufficient for most applications. The screws are driven with a Torx key or screwdriver in size T20. The matching bit is not included in the scope of delivery, but can also be ordered at favorable prices if required.

White is an extremely sensitive color which, on the one hand, quickly becomes dirty and, on the other hand, quickly develops a yellow tint if it is not weather-resistant. However, this so-called yellowing due to UV radiation is not to be feared with our balcony screws in pure white, because we rely on a robust powder coating, which has a very good UV and weather resistance. The color corresponds to the RAL color code RAL9010 from the K5 Classic color fan and matches the pure white HPL panels, which we offer cut to size. The gloss level also corresponds to the decorative surface of our white laminate panels made of high-pressure laminate.

NOTE: The different thread lengths of the screws make sense because the overall thickness of the material to be screwed with the white balcony screws can also vary. However, it is not only the panel material to be mounted that must be taken into account, but also the counterpart with which the screw is tightened, because a threaded sleeve increases the clamping range, while a nut reduces it. This is due to the fact that the threaded sleeve is inserted into the material. However, a nut or cap nut is threaded onto the thread of the bolt from the outside, so it must be long enough so that there is still sufficient thread length protruding through the assembly object to allow the nut to be threaded on and tightened. Washers, spring washers or also spacers, also reduce the clamping area, so that its thickness must be deducted from the effective length of the thread.

Examples of applications for white balcony screws

If balcony claddings are fastened with the white balcony screws, the maintenance effort is kept within limits and only requires occasional cleaning. It is not necessary to replace the screws after a certain period of time. If, on the other hand, they are not processed with appropriate care, the paintwork may be damaged under certain circumstances. Cleaning with unsuitable cleaning agents, for example scouring milk or cleaners with abrasive particles, as well as cleaning with hard sponges, can also impair the silky gloss, or the pure white color. Here, the individual screws are a perfect substitute, but are also suitable for countless other applications that are not related to a balcony border or a stair railing.

There is nothing that is not also available in white. Furniture, patio covers, garage doors, fencing. The list can be continued indefinitely. So it is hardly surprising that the pure white screws with M5 thread are used for just as many purposes. In combination with threaded sleeves, pieces of furniture can be screwed together securely, firmly and extremely inconspicuously. If threaded dowels are used in masonry or plasterboard walls, the screws can also be used at the same time to secure high cabinets against tipping or to mount shelving systems. Also very popular is the use as a screw connection of opaque side elements for patio roofs and conservatories.
