The small, round spacer in the size 13mm x 13mm is made of rust-resistant stainless steel, has a screwable head and a design that is pleasing to the eye. Due to its small size and the small wall distance of only 13mm the small spacer is perfect for office signs, doorbell signs or also for billboards used for fire protection equipment or emergency exits. Despite the small size the stainless steel spacer manages to acquire over a relatively high load capacity of ca. 10kg, which is sufficient for most applications. For a higher weight load the bearing capacity can be increased by using several spacers at a time.

Characteristics of our 13mm x 13mm spacer

Our spacers have a diameter and a wall distance of 13mm. They are as popular as our spacer of 15mm. Because of the small size and the very small wall distance, the aesthetically pleasing spacers are perfect for small signs or pictures. They are equally suited for mounting small warning signs or marking office rooms, parking areas or signposts. Despite the small size the signs can have a thickness of up to 10mm. A comparably high bearing capacity of 10kg is sufficient for most installations. Due to the screwable head, the small spacers are also perfectly appropriate for places that are hard to reach. The cover caps of stainless steel are screwed directly into the spacer sleeves. Like all spacers we offer in our online shop, also this spacer in size 13x13mm is made of solid V2A stainless steel. The screwable head, as well as the spacer sleeves, are made of one material. In contrast to products of many other providers, whose products only have a stainless steel coat, our spacers all are absolutely rust-resistant and weather-resistant. This way the use of the product outside is not a problem. Even in damp spaces and sanitary facilities the spacers can be used long-term without complications.

The clamping area of the small spacer amounts to maximally 10mm and refers to the collective thickness of all plates including the optional distance- or intermediate rings.

Installation of the screwable, stainless steel spacer

Our stainless steel spacers with a diameter of 13mm are suitable for mounting plates and signs up to a maximum thickness of 10mm with a wall distance of 13mm. The bearing capacity of the small spacer is a maximum of ca. 10kg and is ideal for smaller acryl glass signs, signposts or warning signs. The needed number of spacers depends on the stability and solidity of the sign, which differs per plate material.

TIP: The diameter of the spacer is 13mm. For a pleasing look we recommend a hole drilling distance 10mm from the edges, optimally 20mm. Next to the more pleasing look it also has the advantage that holes will break out during assembly or due to impact.

Prior to mounting the desired position for of the sign should be determined. To do this, transfer the holes in the plate by marking them on a flat surface and fasten the spacer sleeves with suitable screws. Then the caps of the spacers are inserted through the plate into the spacer sleeves and fixed with a small grub screw with an Allen key.

NOTE: Screws with a screw head diameter of maximum 7,0mm and a thread diameter of maximum 4,5mm can be used to mount the spacer sleeves. Ideal to work with are countersunk screws in the size 4,5mm x 40mm or 4,5 x 50mm when mounting the spacers and prove to facilitate a sufficient bearing load for small- to medium-sized signs.
