Properties of our spacers 15x15mm key

Our stainless steel spacer with a diameter of 15mm is ideal for attaching small and medium-sized signs and plates to all flat surfaces. Thanks to the very flat head with a thickness of only 1,7mm, a visually appealing and aesthetic assembly of acrylic glass signs, information boards or pictures is possible. Securing with a grub screw means that tool-free disassembly is not possible without further ado, which makes it difficult to steal (steal) the signs.

The clamping range of the wall bracket ranges from 1mm - 10mm, so that lasered stainless steel signs with low thickness can also be used. In addition, several plates up to a total thickness of 10mm can be attached, for example to mount photos, posters or pictures between two acrylic glass plates seemingly floating. The spacer in the size of 15mm x 15mm is massively manufactured and consists of a rust-proof V2A stainless steel alloy, so that it can be used outdoors without hesitation.

NOTE: A hex key (also known as an Allen key) with a size of 2mm is required to fix the grub screws. This is not included in the scope of delivery.

Installation of our stainless steel spacers

Our stainless steel spacers are suitable for mounting plates and signs up to a maximum thickness of 10mm. To assemble the panels, they must be pre-drilled at the appropriate points. We recommend a diameter of at least 8mm to a maximum of 10mm for the holes in the plate. The larger bore of up to 10mm ensures a little more leeway when installing the spacer sleeves. With hole bores of more than 10mm, there is a risk that the hole is no longer completely covered by the cover cap. The number of stainless steel spacers required varies depending on the size and thickness of the signs. We recommend a distance of about half a meter for sufficient load-bearing capacity and stability.

TIP: When drilling holes, ensure that there is sufficient clearance from the edge of the plate used to prevent the holes from breaking out during assembly or due to impact.

In the following step, determine the desired position of the sign. To do this, transfer the holes in the plate by marking them on a flat surface and fasten the spacer sleeves with suitable screws. Then the caps of the spacers are inserted through the plate into the spacer sleeves and fixed with the small grub screw with an Allen key.

NOTE: Screws with a screw head diameter of maximum 7,5 mm and a thread diameter of maximum 6,0 mm can be used to mount the spacer sleeves.
